I am pretty sure for a rescue puppy I have the best parents ever. But I wonder if things had been different three years ago if I would have ever found my forever home.
Three years ago today my sweet, loving and wonderful Dad asked permission from her brother and then dropped to one knee to ask our Mom to spend the remainder of their lives together! Dad was too excited by the possibilities to wait until Christmas Day as he had originally planned. The first time they had gone out – to a hockey game of all things was October 30th. They would be married on Valentine’s Day in 2015! Tesla joined our family a month later in March and now I have joined the family this year.
But Mom and Dad have known each other for a long time. They went to high school together and Dad never told Mom until 45 years later that he had a crush on her back then. Such a wonderful love story that I am now a part of…
