This is Mom… We awake this morning at the Oregon Garden for a quick overnight holiday get-away to enjoy the Winter Festival.
It is early morning – the fireplace is aflame, coffee is brewing, Craig wakes up and is pretty sure he’s in a Foldger’s commercial or having a Hallmark moment. The only thing (I should say things) missing is/are the snuggles from sweet pups and the purring from Miss Bentley.
Although word is this sweet little one gave Melissa quite the hard time last night! She went to the backyard and didn’t want to come in and barked and barked. Poor Melissa. Eventually, as I knew she would, Shelby came in and rejoined her pack. She is still a bit leery of Melissa and can’t quite figure out why Mom and Dad aren’t home. But we will be home in just a few hours.
