Musings: Run Fast Puppy! Checking In!

Oh my goodness! I am so behind in my updates!! Hope you haven’t forgotten me! It’s Shelby here!

What a crazy couple of weeks we have had. I am doing really well. My brothers and my sister, Miss Bentley, are bonding more and more with me and I am learning all kinds of new things from them, my Mom and Dad. We have been playing and even Tesla wants to play, as long as I am not too rough! I learned about something new this week – whipped cream! And boy, do I love this! I take it right out of the dispenser, just like Tesla; but not Lincoln, he doesn’t like the noise. I don’t mind because the noise means something yummy is coming. I have also started riding as my Dad’s new “sidekick” and am doing my best to be like Porsche. I know he really misses her not being with him. But I don’t bark as much when Dad leaves me in the car to run into the store. However, when he takes me with him then I bark at the people we meet. I am still getting use to all these new faces and it really is my way of saying, “Hello – See Me”! But Dad reminds me “No Bark, Puppy”! I really like when we ride in the “new/old” pick-up because I can see up high at all the cool things, and I am closer to the birds, and when I cuddle I can be right next to Dad. I really like that and he really likes the company!

Most of the reason I haven’t been posting my updates is Mom has been using the computer. I keep telling her we really do need more computers in the house so we don’t have to share. But she just kind of rolls her eyes at me. Mom has been so busy almost every night doing work. This last week she has been working on a RFP! I was pretty sure this meant “Run Fast Puppy”! But when I did this, she looked at me with the look of “Silly Puppy What Are You Doing?” I quickly learned this was something for her work. I sit in Dad’s lap and watch her working at her table. She keeps writing and writing, but something called technical writing that isn’t about puppies. I am pretty sure it must be serious and not as much fun as writing about me! Maybe they will want to do a Shelby RFP! This would, I am so sure, be much more fun to read! We could even include pictures and it would describe how to raise a busy and energetic puppy named Shelby! Wouldn’t that be something to read!

Speaking of Run Fast Puppy! Dad is fixing me a yummy dinner! Next time I will need to tell you about what Dad feeds us. It is really good and keeps us really healthy… Night all!
